While Barlow initially comes across as a little shy, it's not too difficult to win him over if you go slow. He daintily accepts behind-the-ear scratches, and perks up at the site and sound of toys he can chase, rewarding you with soft, squeaky meows. Eventually he'll find his way into your lap where he'll purr away, happy as can be.
