Looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or adoption.
Arrrggghhhh...it's a pirates life for Bandit! He has a black beard, so what else could we name him?? Like the pirate Blackbeard, Bandit may act rough and tough, but he's really not a despicable rogue.
Bandit is one of those very unlucky cats whose owner dumped him in a local feral colony. Because he hadn't been neutered, he did what boy cats do - he fought for the right to mate with the local females. In the process, he got a large abrasion on his head which healed nicely. But he also picked up the FIV virus. He was trapped in the colony to be neutered and released, and we realized he wasn't feral at all!
That was nearly a year ago, and Bandit has been in a crowded foster home ever since. He needs a place to be with less cats so that his personality can shine. He is friendly and curious, but he can also be on the alpha side - experienced adopters only please! Bandit deserves to be in a loving home where he can get more human attention to cater to his feline whims. You know, like all cats want?
Even though he is FIV positive, he is healthy and asymptomatic. FIV cats can live long, normal lives, and can even be integrated with FIV negative cats. Bandit would like to have a home to call his own. Are you his angel?
