Baloo was rescued from an ad on Americanlisted. He was advertised as free to a good home when he was a small kitten

　　not even weaned! Fortunately, one of our fosters saw the ad and brought Baloo to safety. The sad truth is that free to good home comes with no strings, and these animals may be adopted by someone with evil intent, like using a kitten for dog fight bait, or to feed a large snake.

　　But Baloo is safe, and like his namesake from the Jungle Book, he is big floofy teddy bear with a large poofy tail. He is a very handsome black panther with shiny, medium length fur. Although he is nearly all black, his tail is actually a very dark gray. And he knows he is one good-looking dude. He could be a runway model the way he struts his stuff. But he isnt arrogant about his good looks because he is really just a big love bug looking for that family or person to admire him for the rest of his gorgeous life!

　　Baloo is okay with other cats (one of his pictures is with one of his foster brothers) and dogs. He is fully vetted, including:

　　Spayed

　　Microchipped

　　Up to date on vaccinations

　　Flea treatment

　　De-worming as needed

　　FIV/Felv combo test negative
