My story

　　Staff would describe my personality as: Goofy and loving, and very energetic. Ballon loves to play outside! Ballon was a very nervous and undersocialized dog when he first arrived, but he has come a long way!With other dogs I am: The staff do not recommend that I live in a home with other dogs right now.With cats I am: Cats make me nervous. I would like a home without cats.With children I am: I would do well with children over 12 years old. I love to jump and play, I will knock over younger children.Potty-trained: I seem to be potty trained at the shelter with regular potty breaks.Crate-trained: UnknownLeash-trained: I am doing well with learning how to walk on a leash!I have the following special needs: Ballon has come a long way since he arrived, but he is still a little nervous in new situations. We`d like Ballon to go to a home with an owner with some prior experience to continue to help him grow and learn!All dogs are tested for heartworms and given flea preventatives. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Dogs are vaccinated against distemper, rabies, and bordetella, spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
