Bailey's story
Say hi to our bouncy ball, Bailey!
Bailey is a full of energy, 2 year old male, Lab and German Shepherd mix who is an owner surrender owing to some unfortunate apartment and HOA issues. Bailey is bathroom and house trained with a free range and is currently learning to walk on leash. He sometimes excitably pulls on the leash and is being trained to walk right and learn commands like 'stay'. He has been fixed.
Bailey is a very fun, energetic dog who loves other dogs and people. He doesnt have cats around him but may chase them. He is also yet to meet kids, and his foster thinks he should be good as long as he is taught to play with small children keeping his size in mind. With all his energy, he is actually quite mellow at home! All he wants to do is take his human on long walks, play endless games of ball and show off his true lapdog nature by cuddling you wherever and whenever possible. If you are looking for a hiking buddy he would probably fall in love with you forever!
Bailey will do best with experienced dog owners who will give him exercise. He will need a yard and regular walks. He will do best with a mellow dog buddy. Love, patience and training will go a long way! His adoption fee is $300 and that includes neutering, shots and microchip.
