Up for auction is a used Bach Stradivarius model 42 trombone.  Open wrap big bore model.  F trigger.  This horn is used and has scars.  Small nicks and dings here and there.  Minor lacquer loss throughout.  Please refer to the photos.  Has had a bell drop and repaired.  You can see the scar at the top of the bell.  It's just not cost effective to strip the whole bell section down, work the scar out better, then hard buff it and relacquer.  This is it's history.  It's a good player and not a terrible looker.  Most of the lacquer is still with it.  Let's say at least 95% conservatively.  Has been chem cleaned and shop adjusted.  I didn't want to list this too close to Christmas because it is too stressful worrying if it'll make it on time as a present.  If you have a student looking at this horn, then that student will understand all those things and would rather actually have the horn than not at all.  This is a valuable gig bag often selling for upwards of 400 dollars alone.  So that puts the price of the horn at about 850 and subtracting nearly 100 for the shop service, you're only paying about 750 for the horn.  But adding back the shop bill and the case puts it around 1250.  I will throw in an extra large shank mouthpiece if I have one.  I have about 30 old bone mouthpieces scattered around so I'm sure I have at least one.  No reserve.  Make the opening bid and I will end the auction and sell it to you for the opening bid.  If you're still reading, then now you know.  I'll get it in the mail within two days.  No international shipping.  Posted shipping price is for Conus only.  All other US states and territories must pay the priority upcharge.  Thanks for looking and peace to all.  John
