  Drive train

All MOPAR built by Sacramento MOPAR engine building specialist at a cost of $7,000 for engine alone. Built 318 to 340 specs with roller rockers, purple cam, windage tray, balanced and blueprinted, port matched and clearanced. Jet Hot coated exhaust manifolds. ARP bolts throughout. Even with freeway gears (2.89) the car runs extremely strong and amazingly gets 20 mpg. A 3.55 or 3.73 gearset would really impact performance if that is your goal.

Rear end is 8.75? MOPAR (all new $2,000 Auburn posi unit/Moser axles) with 11? HD finned police drums in back, and disc brakes up front. Aluminum HD radiator with custom fan shroud (runs 180). Stainless side exhaust with cut-outs running through Purple Hornies. Sounds great.

Trans is completely rebuilt 727 MOPAR with shift kit, programmable cooler and moderate 2000 stall converter. Custom aluminum gas tank (filler in trunk). Ron Francis and It's a Snap wiring professionally done. Manual steering and dual diaphragm manual master cylinder.

Rims are polished American Racing Torque Thrusts. 185/14's on front, 225/15's on rear

Great and unique vehicle. Always gathers a crowd at shows, and a ton of ?thumbs ups? when being driven. Winged Goddess hood ornament (NOS) from a 1941 DeSoto...very cool. People love that it's different than most cars at car shows. Insured for $35,000 but selling for $28,000 cash (just reduced...and firm). Only reluctantly selling so I can buy another classic car I have found.
