My story

　　Meet Ava! She has just recently made her way back to this rescue under the saddest circumstances: she was originally adopted from us 8 years ago, but a shelter notified us that they had her in their care after scanning her microchip. Her "owner" dumped her citing an international move. Ava is 18 pounds and could use a good high-quality diet! We are looking for a person that will give Ava a real FOREVER home this time!

　　Ava is now 10 years old, incredibly friendly and affectionate, but not super playful. She adores her current temporary foster and would be a perfect solo kitty for an adult (she is not a fan of young children). She is okay around dogs that will leave her be. Ava's ideal home would be a mellow one with a human that wants a couch (or lap) companion. Ava would like her second time around to the final (and best) one!

　　NOTE: Ava does need a foster home! She is currently in one with young children and she would prefer less activity...
