Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Z**courtesy Post** Riddle

　　Riddle is a 2 year old red heeler/kelpie mix. He definitely has herding instincts. He would make a great farm dog or a protector. He bonds very closely with one or two people, is very loving, and likes to be a lap dog also. Riddle gets along with most dogs but sometimes takes a little while to get comfortable with them; but once he does they are best buds!!! Horses don't bother him but we're not sure about cats. We do not suggest small children because he does nip at times (it's that heeler instinct). He would be a great companion for someone outside a lot; he loves to run and fetch a ball. He doesn't like strangers invading his property or near his person. He is very much a protector. On the other hand, he is very loyal to his family and loves to stay right by your side.
