　　He's a medium sized dog.

　　A bit hazy eyes (one brown, one blue) - typical with age.

　　Nice Tail.

　　Black and White with a hint of auburn around his rough I?m a truly special handsome, mature male, well behaved, totally house trained, a little arthritic, prone to melt when I get a massage and lover of routine. I do have a slight problem in that I can?t hear very well; I don?t respond to being called. My foster and I communicate by touch and sight and when I need something really bad (like walkies or dinner) I pant a lot. I would love a furever home where I can run around a bit and maybe a nice female to play with and act as my ears. I?ve seen cats in the neighborhood but I?m not really interested. I do get a bit alarmed with fast movement so maybe not a home with children. He can get snappy too. But again this is an approach issue. Approach him slowly, touch below the mouth than more upward to cheeks , then ears (loves this) then rest of body. Without sound commands he reacts... so SLOW and GENTLE works great. And he doesn't take to new people quickly, he's more guarded.

　　I was talking with my neighbor who tried to approach him, he backed away, rough up. Pats calmed him and he stood by us while we yapped for 15 minutes. So there is protective behavior there - as is prancing and short bursts of jogging...There are many secrets in this dog . The one's that are coming out are quite nice and very normal.
