Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Pepper - Medium - Adult
Pepper is a pure breed Queensland Blue Heeler. She is spayed, current on vaccines, housebroken, and very calm. She is not a barker unless someone comes to the door. She is not a digger or a jumper and does not chew on household items! She would love to be the only dog or maybe with a male dog but NO cats! She is an inside girl! She loves to cuddle, she is smart, and she is very playful! She is approximately 7 years old. She just loves to play with her squeaky toys and will lay on her back and holds her toy to her mouth with her feet!! I had a great home (I thought)...they played with me, even took me for walks.......that is until a new human baby arrived. Then their thoughts toward me changed........too much hair...didn't have time for me.....I might be mean to the baby and on and on! Next thing I knew I didn't have my home anymore. Next day I found myself in a strange home with people I didn't know. I WAS SCARED, CONFUSED AND SAD! WHERE IS MY FAMILY? WHAT DID I DO SO WRONG FOR THEM NOT TO BE WITH ME? I LOVE EVERYONE AND ESPECIALLY BABIES. Eventually, my new parents discovered that I had a lump under my chin- then even they didn't want me anymore. They decided to take me to the desert the following day and SHOOT me! Everyone thinks I'm so disposable! I guess I'm not worth anything... except one lady wanted to save me. She picked me up that day and later had my 'benign' lump removed! She loves me but can't keep me because she is gone almost 12 hours a day! Call NHCD to meet me today, you wont regret it! Pepper's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in this dog, please go to /adopt.html to fill out the adoption application. You may also contact [email removed] if you have any questions. Thank you!
