Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Peggy Sue - Medium - Young

　　Peggy Sue is a lively and adorable 3 year old Heeler mix. She?s the perfect scoop-her-up-and-squeeze-her size (okay, so we just can?t resist!), weighing in at just over 40 lbs.

　　Peggy isn?t for the couch potato, though she?ll happily snuggle you there for some down time. Peggy loves walks, and chasing balls. She?ll fetch if you ask her too, but her heart?s more into a good game of chase or keep away! Oh, and she loves to play tug! Peggy is quite polite on the leash, and even loves to run alongside her foster mom on the bike!

　　Peggy has learned basic obedience. She knows sit, down, stay, touch, and up! She is super treat motivated and learns quickly. Her foster family will be happy to show you what she knows so you can continue the training in your own home. She's also great in the car, and is up for having fun wherever you take her! Peggy is housetrained and cratetrained.

　　Peggy?s got the bold enthusiasm of her breed type, and she's too forward with other high energy dogs. She's selective with her doggy friends, and would do best as an only dog or with a settled older dog. She?s working on those social skills daily, and may fit into more types of homes soon! No kitties, please!

　　After all this talk of Peggy's energy, we do have to make one big point! She's the sweetest snuggler and is hardly a handful at home! She's got enough energy to make her fun, but is balanced enough to be a great family pet.

　　Are you active, confident and do you have a good sense of humor? Peggy just might be your girl! Give her a great home, and every day you?ll be rewarded with looks of devotion from her beautiful, bright pumpkin colored eyes!
