Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Dixie - Large - Young

　　DIXIE is a female Blue Healer / Pointer mix and is about 2 years old (May 2012). DIXIE and her sister Daisy (also listed on Petfinder) were born on Dec. 17, 2009 and their dad was an ACD/ Blue Heeler and mom was half Heeler half Pointer (bird dog). DIXIE is super loving and likes to have her belly rubbed. DIXIE is great around children. She has been trained at PetSmart as a puppy and is clicker trained to come and follows commands. DIXIE is easy going around other dogs and has been raised with her sister Daisy who is also up for adoption. She and her sister love to play outside in the yard! She does not like loud noises such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, or blowers. Due to their Moms work schedule she cannot devote the time and attention needed for these sweet girls and with a heavy heart is trying to find them a new home(s). DIXIE and Daisy would love to find a new home(s) with an active family and a large fenced yard where they could run and play. DIXIE is spayed.
