Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Cody/courtesy Posting
Cody, a Queensland Heeler mix, was brought in as a stray to a county shelter. He weighs approximately 40 lbs and is believed to be 2 years old, although the shelter thought he was younger.
Cody is timid at first, but will warm up to you once he gets to know you. He gets along with dogs of all ages and genders. He is crate and potty trained using a dog door. He has not had a lot of leash time so his new family can help him develop good leash habits. Training classes would be a wonderful thing for Cody so he could not only learn, but become more confident and bond with his new owner.
Cody is fully vaccinated and neutered. Cody tested positive for tick fever but has since been treated and is now negative. He was negative for heartworm and lyme disease.
