Aurora's story

　　Aurora is an adult dog, lots of energy, and needs an active owner. She can be a cuddle bug, but she also requires exercise. She is a dominate female, so she does not get along with all dogs, but is trainable. She will make a very good companion with some time and effort. We never recommend families with small children adopt an adult dog of these breeds (Saint Bernard's, German Shepherds, Heelers, Rottweiler's, and many more varieties) because we have no history on what to expect and we do not want a child to be injured because of the actions of an unfamiliar dog in a new home. This is not to say the dog would bite but we never want to take a chance. So, please if you have small children, do not consider an unfamiliar new addition to your family without knowing for sure, instead wait for a puppy and raise your children and the puppy together.
