August's story

　　August has a dry skin condition that requires he have 2 baths a week with special shampoo that needs to soak on him for 10-15 minutes before being rinsed well. He needs an adopter/family that will take good care of his grooming needs and doesnt mind the routine, willing to provide him follow up visits with a veterinarian. August is approximately 3 years old, weighs 13 lbs, with high energy and rambunctious play style. He does well with other dogs that can handle his play style as well as children. He loves playing with his shelter mates and loves playing with toys - especially tennis balls and rope toys. August loves people and would love going on long walks with his forever family. August has some anxiety about being crated and will do best in a home that will not require him to be crated for long periods of time.
