My story
11/28/22 Little man Atlas is back at the shelter due to no fault of his own. In his prior home he was said to be kennel trained and mostly housebroken (he will go to the door when he needs to go outside). His prior owner did state that he has a delicate stomach and any additional treats did cause gi upset in his prior home. Atlas was also said to still have those puppy tendencies like digging, chewing, and jumping on people. He was said to be a very outgoing and affectionate dog who loves to talk to his people. If you are prepared to work with this young energetic pup and continue with his training please give the shelter a call!11/22/22 This cutie pie is Atlas! Atlas came to the shelter with incomplete surrender paperwork and later defaulted to borough property. Atlas is a young energetic puppy who is looking for guidance in his new home. His prior ownerâÂÂs struggled with potty training and basic obedience. Atlas would highly benefit from going to a basic obedience to work on his manners and find tools for training that will work best for him. As huskies are known for his prior owner also noted that he was very vocal. At the shelter Atlas has been quite the talker and has the cutest husky talk! If you are not familiar with huskies, we do encourage you to research the breed prior to adopting. He is a young active dog looking for an appropriate outlet for his energy! We do not know how Atlas does with children or other critters. Please make sure you are doing slow, safe, and controlled introductions for the best outcome. Huskies are known to have a high prey drive so if you have small critters around, he may not be the best fit for you. If you have the time to work this sweet boy and help him become part of your family, please give the shelter a call!November 29, 2022, 11:27 pm
If you have any questions or would like to adopt ATLAS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
