My story

　　Meet Atlas! This sweet boy is a 2 years old, 50 lbs, blue Merle-colored Aussie mix (Husky maybe). He is also deaf, but knows some sign language. This pooch is fixed and is completely up to date on shots as well as on preventatives. He is potty trained and can provide the best bedtime snuggles ever. He is friendly towards humans (big and small, but ESPECIALLY the small ones), dogs, and cats. He has been attached to the hip of a two year old for the past month, so we have learned just how patient this sweet boy is. He is the definition of a “Velcro” Aussie. He doesn’t really understand how big he is at times, so if he gets too excited, he’s bound to knock something over, but he doesn’t mean it because he cannot hear the things that are falling. His forever home needs to be one that is active and home most of the time. He will also need a home that will work with him on his crate anxiety. He prefers to be with his humans over anything else. He loves other dogs and children, so a home with kids may do him some good. He would not thrive in an apartment setting, so a big, fenced in, back yard is a must so that he can run out his zoomies, play fetch, and chase. He has a lot of energy. He would also need someone who is willing to take their time with him because he has a lot of puppy in him and he’s deaf. In total, Atlas is the perfect family dog and will love everyone in your family from a toddler to an elderly person. He has the goofiest and cuddliest personality ever and he ALWAYS has the coldest, wettest nose that he loves to snuggle you with!
