My story

　　Goodness Gracious! I am one of the luckiest girls around! I was in a mess a few weeks back. I was wandering by a busy road lost and confused. To make it worse I had a severe case of demodectic mange! So I was not looking my best with most of my hair missing and hot pink skin showing all over my body! My rescuer didn’t let my appearance stop her from helping me. She put me in her car and brought me to the shelter. We waited for my family to claim me, but no one ever came. In the mean time I was getting meds and medicated baths to help my itching and hot pink skin! What a relief those baths were! Anyway I was never claimed by my family and now I can look for a new home. Besides helping me with my skin issues the shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I was heartworm negative, that I had a microchip, and that I was spayed. I am a one-year-old bulldog mix. Now when you come to see me don’t be shocked! I still have lots of my coat missing, but I know when it grows back in I will be beautiful both inside and out!
