My story

　　Hi! My name is Athena. I was found as a stray by one of AAWL's rescue partners. My history is a bit of a mystery. Here at AAWL, I've shown them that I am picky about who my dog friends are. I currently live with another dog at the shelter, but, have met others that I'm not too fond of. I think humans of all ages would be fun to live with. I prefer an active family that can take me on regular walks, have regular play sessions, maybe go on longer hikes on the weekend! I will need some help learning how to properly walk on a leash, but am eager to learn.
