My story

　　Athena is a 3-year-old female Shepherd mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She came to PAHS as a stray who was brought in by City Animal Control; no owner came to reclaim her.  Athena has a light tan coat with some white markings.  She weighs 42 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  This sweetheart likes to run and play; she would need a securely fenced yard to play.  Athena loves a treat; and to get her treat she is willing to learn!  She would easily trainable to do just about anything.  Athena is great with other dogs; and she would be good with children.  She has the potential to be an awesome family dog!  Athena just needs a family to step up and adopt her so she can get started on the rest of her life.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  September 1, 2022, 9:05 pm
