My story

　　Athena is an 1-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier who must be spayed before she is adopted. She has a gray and brown brindle coat with white markings. Athena is such a pretty girl! She currently weighs 49 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Athena still has a lot of 'puppy play' in her! She is quite active and loves to romp around in our play yard. Athena would need a fenced yard where she could safely exercise and play. She is good with other dogs but we would suggest if you have another dog to bring your dog out to PAHS for a 'meet and greet'. Athena would be fine in a home with older children. She is so frisky she might knock a smaller child down with her cavorting around. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
