Hey there!
I'm aiming to remove an extremely gently utilized laptop computer today. I recently transferred to Bend, and having actually prepared the move, chose I would get an affordable laptop that was extremely simple to move rather of being restrained to my desktop while getting settled. It was a good concept too, since I was stuck in a motel room for 2 weeks longer than expected.
With that, I am extremely protective of my electronics. The way I see it, I am investing a very penny on them, and I would enjoy to have them last for years, considering that I am not fond of changing them. I put a screen protector on the laptop when I received it, and didn't truly make use of the touchscreen feature. I plugged in a mouse, so the trackpad hasn't seen much use either. While the touchscreen feature is neat, I can say it isn't rather as intuitive as a tablet.
This particular design is very, I have to state. It has actually a greyish-purple brushed metal exterior, and a brushed metal interior. It's a 12" laptop, which is where mobility enters aspect. Rather of lugging around a 17" leviathan, this is much easier to handle the go. I will certainly say having a good desktop replacement isn't a bad thing at all!
I got this with the knowledge that it would not be a gaming powerhouse, so keep that in mind. I didn't have any troubles with The Novelist or FTL, so if you're a Humble Bundle connoisseur, you can boot up most titles and play with little lag. Although, I will state it does get a little toasty. Because of that, I never had long sessions. Once more, I babied this thing.
Here are the specs, as thanks to Amazon:.
Intel Core i3-3217U 1.8 GHz.
4 GB DDR3.
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive.
11.6-Inch Screen.
Windows 8, 4-hour battery life.
I had a few options, but this was the one I wanted to choose for the third gen Intel Core CPU. It's reasonably stylish for, what it is, somewhere in between the next generation of netbooks and laptop computers. I never attempted anything processor-intensive, so I can not say I stressed it much, however I discovered it to be fine for my use of it.
The factor I am removing it is because now that I am relocated, it's hard to turn my back on my desktop. All of the love put into it, it's my go to. Plus, I am not active enough to validate having a laptop computer.
