Astro's story

　　I play hard, I love hard!

　　Astro is energetic about everything

　　and playing and loving are at the top of his list!

　　This handsome boy was adopted from PAWS as a kitten but was recently relinquished because he was too energetic for his adopter. Astro needs a lot of attention and would do best in a home with a playful feline companion

　　or perhaps a canine companion.

　　Not only is he such a handsome boy, he is super affectionate. If you visit his cat community room, you may not see him at first since he burrows under his blanket and bed. But once he realizes you are there, he makes a chirping sound and emerges from his cocoon for pets and a snuggle. He places his paws on either side of your neck and nuzzles his face into your chest. His purring lets you know how happy he is to spend time with you.

　　You can meet Astro at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

　　If you are interested in adopting Astro you must first come in and meet him. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
