*ASHLEY's story
Ashley was picked up by animal control after being left at the Davis Road dog park and no owner has come forward to claim her. Ashley is a sweet younger girl who needs some structure in her life so that she can learn what is expected of her, as well as have an outlet for her boundless energy! Ashley seems to enjoy the company of other dogs; however, she plays very much like a very large puppy, which may be too much for smaller, older, or more timid dogs- mutual visits with any other pups in her adoptive home are a great idea! Ashley is rambunctious and not a natural ballerina (aka she is a bit of a bull in a china shop), so she may do better in a home without small children, as she may accidentally knock them over. Ashley may not have lived with cats before, so caution should be exercised in introducing her to kitties. Ashley would benefit from an active home that loves to run, play or hike! It would also be great for her to participate in a basic obedience course so that she can solidify basic manners and become confident in new situations!
