Ashley and Archie are the perfect bundle of sassy and sweet. Ashley (the black bunny) is the boss lady, always keeping an eye and ears out, no one picks on this lady. She is also a sweetheart who likes a back rub, and will probably be the first one to warm up to you. However you need to earn her trust before you are allowed to pick her up without protests.
Archie has the softest fur you can imagine, and hes usually very easy to pick up and hold. Hes a bit more careful in the beginning but once he gets to know you hell rush to meet you whenever he sees you and will steal your heart in no time. He LOVES food and that makes it easier to win him over. He has yet to refuse anything hes been offered (his wife however is a bit more picky).
They enjoy having a large litter box to dig around in. Make sure it has an absorbent bottom layer and lots of hay on top, they will spend a lot of time in it, chewing on hay, thinking big thoughts. They also need a lot of vegetables daily, romaine and kale are staples, as well as fresh herbs but they enjoy variation. They both get about 1/4 cup of Oxbow pellets daily, divided into two servings (they are very excited about these meals).
They are both very helpful when you clean the letterbox and fill up their hay, make sure you watch your step as they will be right by your feet and make sure you are doing things right. Neither of them are really big on hiding but Ashley likes to have something tall to sit on, the little house they currently have has served as a watchtower for her more than anything.
They are both really impressive jumpers, sometimes they show it off when you bring their daily serving of pellets or some other goodies, it may be too exciting to sit still when something like that is happening.
They are very nosy and very well aware when theyre up to something they shouldnt, usually result in them looking very innocent and/or running like crazy towards their pen when caught :)
At their foster home they have gotten to know a toddler and a small dog and they all got along very well. All in all they are very sweet bunnies who have lots of love to give.
