Arvi's story

　　Arvi is a 4-5 year old laid back Doberman. After being re-homed due to poor treatment, he was then turned into the shelter. His lovely manners impressed us right away. This tall boy settles into house rules easily. He is looking for someone who wants to spend a lot of time petting his velvety soft ears, cuddling him, and taking him for walks. He would love a family all to himself as he is making up for lost time and tends to hog all the attention. He may be able to share his circle of trust with another older, calm dog his size but he is not a fan of dogs that dont respect his personal space or a lot of frenzied activity. We are cat testing soon. We suspect Arvi lived outside most of his life, so he is learning what a crate is all about. He happily sleeps in a big crate at night but is a little uneasy when left alone and trapped in his crate; he wants to earn your trust and he may not need a crate if your home is dog safe.
