My story

　　ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Arnold! Arnold is a 3 year old, 18 lb Scottish Terrier- Schauzer mix. He arrived in the shelter badly matted from neglect & very scared. His shave down revealed his kind eyes & a handsome little face. Arnold is still a little scared of new situations & not quite sure what to do on leash, but responds well to gentle encouragement. He gets overwhelmed around very energetic dogs, but does fine after introductions if the other dogs respect his space. He is quiet, crate trained & seems to know to do his business outside. He is a gentle old soul who needs a patient & kind new owner help bring him out if his shell. He is a lovely dog that will make a wonderful companion & a loyal buddy. His adoption fee is $250. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to and complete an application today!
