Arlo's story

　　Arlo is a handsome 6 1/2 year old chihuahua mix who is looking for a loving forever family. Arlo might do best in a home with a single lady, but is open to meeting just about anyone who will be patient with him and show him lots of love. Arlo will do best in a family with no children. Arlo came to us as a stray and after seeing our vet was diagnosed with tick fever, so he went to a foster and was treated! He's now all clear from that, but does sometimes have a cough which is caused by a heart murmur and a collapsed trachea. He is on meds which help and are fairly affordable. Arlo enjoys short walks, but must be harnessed due to his collapsed trachea. He is kennel trained, but may need patience and training with his house breaking. Arlo is good with other small dogs and would be happy to have another dog in his forever home. Arlo can be a bit leery of new people, but once he picks his people he loves them with all his heart and will make a wonderful and loyal companion. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked. His adoption fee is $80 which includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him, come to our location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tues-Sunday 11am to 6pm. On weekends, call for location as some of our dogs attend off site adoption events,
