Ari's story
Adorable Ari, at a trim 10 pounds, may be new to the feeling of safety, and yet, paw step by paw step, she's slowly emerging from her shell. Sweet and oh-so-shy, she's not shy, however, about climbing onto her foster mom's lap, resting her head on her chest and simply gazing up at her! New as well to the world of toys and treats, she has yet to find any she likes, and while not especially food motivated, has started learning her basic commands. She gets along with the other dogs, walks fairly well on a leash, and is growing more comfortable daily with being picked up and taken for rides in the car. Although housetrained, she remains as fearful of her kennel as she is of strangers, but with time and tenderness in a patient and nurturing home, this bashful beauty is sure to bloom.
