　　Archie is a sweet and loving little Chihuahua mix that is estimated to be 2 years old and a mere 7lbs. He has a quirky personality that will make your heart melt. Archie was not doing well in the shelter environment, so we asked to try him out in a home, and he started to thrive almost immediately. We feel he would do best in a home with no other pets and one owner only. He wants to be king of his persons world. He is very devoted and became attached to his foster mom within just a few days. He is fully house trained. He sleeps well through the night in a crate and often goes into a crate to rest and sleep during the day, it is his safe zone. He can be protective of his food dish with the other dogs but not at all with his owner. He has a good appetite but eats slowly, only a few nibbles at a time. Due to this we have him on a free feeding schedule. Archie loves to go to the park and sticks to his foster while she walks around. He does not like it when dogs approach him too quickly. He walks very well on a leash, rides quietly in the car and barks only to alert if someone comes to the door. Archie is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.

　　All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
