This auction is for an Arcam CD 73. The unit is in good cosmetic condition but occasionally skips on some CDs. I am convinced that this is a problem with the CD player rather than the disks because they play fine on my other CD player. The unit works, (i.e., it loads and reads disks fine, all buttons on the front panel work, the remote works as it should). However, the output will occasionally drop out for about a 1/2 second 2-3 times per disk. On some disks, it doesn't do this at all and on others it will do it every other song. Honestly, if you were just using this for background listening you might barely even notice it. On the other hand, if you are doing critical listening, it can get obnoxious. Overall the sound is great. It's just not performing at 100% so I am listing it for parts. Check my 100% positive feedback and expect competent packing and prompt shipping.
