　　Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County (HAROTC) is a 501c3 tax exempt organization offering a foster home network for the rehabilitation and care of hoofed animals that have been impounded by local law enforcement due to abuse and neglect, pending prosecution. We do not pick and choose animals that come into our care. We receive animals in various states of neglect and abuse, both mentally and physically. Those animals, whose ownership is forfeited by court action and have recovered enough to be placed into permanent homes, are made available for adoption. They may still have behavioral and/or long term physical issues that may limit their future potential.

　　Personality: Chance gets along well with other horses and is easy to catch. He has had a lot of handling and is very sweet. Chance has a lot of energy.

　　Training: Chance halters, trailers and longes. He has been started on groundwork using Natural Horsemanship techniques. He stands quietly for the farrier and has been clipped on his chin.

　　Owner/Rider Experience Level: Because he is a youngster, he needs a patient owner who has experience training young horses or an owner who is willing to have a professional train him.

　　Best suited for: With training Chance could do competitive or endurance riding, trail riding; 4-H project. He has a lot of potential.
