My story

　　Brighter than any planet's moon!Why hello there, hooman! My name is Apollo. I am a 3-year-old, neutered male, Beagle Mix weighing around 49 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from Tijuana. I am 80% trained…I need some work with house training, and more positive reinforcement when I go outside. And with leash training I pull in response to my harness, so I need some patient hooman(s). I am a little on the chonky side so more exercise is good for me since I need to lose weight.Let’s share a little bit about me! I am incredibly sweet and loving! I love giving kisses and snuggling. I’m very playful and definitely have puppy energy at times. I love toys and biting into anything I can get my paws on (so hide your shoes). I’m great with my foster’s doggo and cat but I definitely get jealous when their doggo gets attention and can be territorial. I am doggo friendly and I love to play with my foster moms’ doggo but I might be best in a single-dog household as I have been territorial of their attention and some spaces in the house. My territorialness is aimed at their dog, not at them or their cat. We’ve have gotten into a few minor tiffs. I love cats, I cuddle with my foster’s cat! I haven’t had the chance to be around little hoomans but I think I would be great with them. I love playing with toys, running around in the yard, and CUDDLING.My perfect furever home would be one with love & patience! My best fit would probably be a home where I’m the only doggo, but with training I could probably be great with other doggos. I’d be great in a home with a cat, no problem. I’d probably love being around little hoomans and being part of a family, but I could be a great companion to a single person. I’m active now but I love mellowing out on the couch or in bed so I could adapt to most lifestyles. I’m happy to hang out in my crate for hours when they’re out and I sleep in my crate overnight. I’m a great boy and will make someone so happy! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
