My story
Hi Everyone!
My name is Anzer, and I’m a wonderful sato from Puerto Rico!
I was born on Aug. 19th to my Mama, Estrella (see her video bio too!) whose name means “star” in Spanish.
My rescue team at the Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF) thought it would be cool to name me and my siblings after the “brightest stars”.
So, I am called Anzer, which refers to the “little fox” of the stars, because I am so sly and curious.
My mama is a chihuahua mix (17 lbs) and the neighbors report to the rescue team that my daddy is a lab mix (whoa!).
I am currently the largest puppy in the litter, and I have a beautiful white collar on a sleek black body.
I am more of a curious and playful puppy, always starting the wrestling matches with my siblings.
When we were just 3 weeks old, I figured out how to climb out of our puppy pen and go explore on my own (or, let’s be honest, crash somewhere new for a nap)!! I am too young to adopt right now, but will be ready after my vaccinations by the end of October.
My rescue team at the PRDF are currently screening applicants, and will send me to my approved home anywhere in the US (the adoption fee includes this cost). Let’s play!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Anzer, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
