Trunk seems from early 1900's and requires a great deal of T.L.C. This is not an expensive trunk and requires substantial work and care. It is, nevertheless, a genuine unique flat leading trunk completely wood with wood bands.

　　Hardware is rusty and requires a lot of rework. It is still basically there and operating. The hinge needs repair or replacement. Bottom outside is metal lined. Rust as mentioned impacts some of the corner brackets.

　　Overall this trunk is priced to sell in the condition it is in. It can be used as is for that primitive rustic dcor or restored to a really good antique trunk. It would be very functional as storage or as a coffee table or both or as an accent furniture piece, i.e., set on end it could be a very neat parlor table for a table light etc

　　. General size is about 36" large 21" deep 13" High. I think wood is cedar, however I am not a wood person and I simply do not understand.
