This is a gorgeous, large antique English Ironstone bowl and pitcher set dating from

　　1. The set is very hard to find in such excellent condition: apart from some

　　minor crazing (normal for a piece this old) no chips or cracks-no repairs or restorations

　　have been done to the piece. Both pieces have a very crisp, bright turquoise blue flowered

　　pattern transfer over sculpted body with gold accents on the bowl rim and pitcher lip and

　　are both marked on the bottom with a griffon.
