Early antique grain painted miniature blanket chest - measuring 20.5" long x 9" tall x 10" wide. Lovely strong grain painting throughout, and also features wire hinges and square nails. The lid is domed with wear or fading slightly to the paint. There is an old ribbon being used as a lid safe. Bottom has slight wood shrinkage as shown. Really an amazing piece.
