Wonderful piece of general store history - Long display case made by the Grand Rapids Show Case Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This early 1900s showcase was used in downtown Greensburg, KY for many years. At 13.8ft long, it is made of oak and has the visibly old wavy glass. It has sliding doors in the back to get inside the display. This showcase is in good used condition, but is missing panel of glass on the left side (please see photos).
Believed to have an unusual stone base that appears white when scratched. Owner was given an appraisal of over $10,000. Feel free to make a fair offer. Buyer will have to remove the display case from a country store in Adair County, KY (about 10 miles from Columbia, KY).
Please feel free to email with any questions - we can send you our phone number for more information. Payment on pickup is fine, but a deposit of $500 must be made through paypal.
Thank you and God Bless!
