It truly needs to be seen to be believed. Particularly the side with the Samurai / Horseback depiction along a river bank. An unbelievable set of carvings hand painted.The opposite side depicts a more gentile flowery and bird scene.Absolutely stunning. Best estimate on age is easily 19th Century. The brass and felt leggings and the hinges are all original.
