Dumbwaiter Server Cart Sideboard Carved Oak Display Shelf
Direct from England,
a fabulous and quite rare antique hotel server or dumbwaiter. Oversized and
quite majestic, almost 4 ft. tall and 4 ft. length, the server has endless
possibilities and style. It’s original
purpose most probably as a dumbwaiter/server for a luxury London hotel or
restaurant!
The large, carved
edge shelves are supported by huge carved and shaped columns between all
levels, with a base of carved bun feet (with castors hidden inside). Well built by craftsmen of
the period, circa1920.
Excellent for various uses
throughout today’s home, as a drink cart, dessert server, china/silver storage,
collection display or powder room towels , the possibilities are endless!
Measurements: 46.5” ht. x 46.5” x 20”.
