Best Offer. Charming vintage and decorative piece of americana from a bigone era when dairy products were produced on family farms. This rare piece of American farm nostalgia might still be found on an Amish farmstead since it is hand cranked and not electric. The brass oval nameplate reads 'McCormick-Derring-made by International Harvestor Company. Not sure of date although electricity became popular in the early 1900's. The solid iron body has been protected by black rustoleum and the top bowl was decorated with rustoleum and stencils to protect it from rust. The metal milk bucket has not been painted. It rests on a swivel hinge. It has a wood handled turn wheel. The height is 49". The top bowl measures 17" across x 8" deep. The interior of the bowl is galvanized metal and has not been painted. The weight is heavy but I'm not sure of the exact weight. I am selling for local pickup only. Bring a truck with a bed and helpers. In case you are wondering, it works! I will throw in some antique milk bottles free. I used to live on a dairy farm in Md. and collected farm antiques. I've had this piece for over 25 years. If you need a sharper photo of the label I can retake. Had trouble with the close up photo. $1500/Or best offer. Thanks, John
