Antique, marked 'Conservatory' Violin. The inside has a tag with the words 'Made in Germany. Copy of Antonius Stradivarius.'On the violin, there is an old piece of paper glued with an inscription: 'Purchased 1926 on 39th street near Blaine Ave by F. Wallis.' This is in Beverly City, Massachusetts. Also inside the violin, there is an inscription in pen: 'L.L. Leininger 1965,' which may be signed by the previous owner. The violin and box are antique and show age-appropriate signs of wear, scratches, and scuffs. The faux leather of the box is worn out in places, and the metal parts show signs of rust, but the locks are in working order. No key for the box! No bow! My phone makes photos brighter; real colors are a little lighter. I don't see any major problems with the violin other than normal wear and tear, but I'm not a professional and may be missing something important. Please ask questions so I can look at the details you are interested in. Look at the photos for all signs of wear.
