Lovely 1800's Composite lamp with a floral design on the glass stem, a beautiful pressed glass font, and a new hand painted glass shade to compliment design on stem. The lamp is original, manufactured in or around 1880, the cast iron base has been cleaned and painted, the brass rings cleaned, electricity and hand a painted shade have been added. NO Holes were drilled so it could easily be converted back to oil burning. The overall height to top of chimney is 25". Base is 4" across, Height to top of fount 13 1/2", shade is 10" diameter and 6" tall. Chimney extends 5" above shade.I have seen almost the exact same lamp, same base, same glass stem with slightly different flower, pressed glass fount with different pattern and exact same brass fittings but missing the shade for over $400.00. This is a great bargain for an antique lover, lamp buff, and will serve as a functional piece of art in your home.
