This is a vintage TrueTone Buescher trumpet in the original case. It appears to be silver except the bell portion looks like it is gold colored. It includes two mouthpieces (8 and 6 A-), music holder and mute insert. The engravings on the trumpet shows a Pat. date of October 29, 1907. It has the numbers of 173929 LP A 10-22. It also shows the True Tone trademark. I will try to describe the trumpet as best I can; I am not a instrument collector. The trumpet itself appears to be in very good condition; the Number 3 valve does not go down all the way. The top finger holder has come off but it is in the case. The mute piece is dented. The case obviously shows wear! The green velvet lining is intact; it slightly musty from being stored. The outside of the case is actually in very good condition considering its age. It is missing one of the snap lock hinge on one side and there is no handle. It does have a college decal on the front that would probably clean off easily. I have NOT cleaned this trumpet or case.
