Antique wood saw. Twist wood piece in the center to tighten rope; this holds everything in place. Wouldnt suggest using it for cutting but it is a looks nice hanging on a wall. Dont know the history of this saw, I got it in Germany. Measures 3 ft. 11 X 18.
