This bronze Manjushri Bodhisattva or Buddha of Wisdom and the North has actually been consecrated by Tibetan monks in Santa Barbara. When it was purchased 15 years back at a Monastery charity event, it was said to be a 19th century copy of a 17th century piece and that customizeds opened the antique base for assessment, which was a practice in the past in browsing for prohibited compounds.

　　The monks reconsecrated the statuary and packed it with blessed items. It was alleged that the piece went from Tibet to India with refugee monks. The piece has a presence and is easily a great reflection or devotional item along with an ornamental Buddhist statue that fits with any design. The measurements are 12" H x 61/2 W x 4 D.
