Annie's story

　　This poor girl has had a very rough time. She wondered the streets for several weeks, terribly frightened of people and pregnant. Many in the neighborhood kept food and water out for her and she went off and had her puppies - all seven of them! A trap was set up and a guy used a baseball bat to 'tempt' her into the cage - after he'd already taken her pups away. She barked and cried until the had no voice. Animal control picked her up and fortunately were able to get the puppies. She's in the shelter with low lights and her babies very scared of all.
