Annabelle's story
**COURTESY POST **
This dog belongs to SugarBelle Foundation, not Saving Grace Animal Rescue.
Hi! My name is Annabelle!
I was dumped on the streets in the freezing cold in January 2018 but fortunately a kind Samaritan picked me up and contacted Sugar Belle Foundation. Since then, I have been in a fabulous foster home that has two other dogs and three young children whom I LOVE. I am now healthy, UTD on all vaccines, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea preventative, and spayed.
I get along fine with other dogs and I LOVE kids. I am so sweet and gentle around them. When my foster family kids go outside to play, I will sit and cry at the door for them. So a home with small kids is ideal. I am only about a year old so I could be that family dog your kid can grow up with. I am only about 45 pounds so not too small and not too bigjust right!
I am fine around my foster dad but there have been two instances where a male figure has frightened me. So I may need a little patience when it comes to certain men.
I am great on a leash. So much so that one of the kids in my foster home takes me for walks.
I dont jump and I dont bark much. Rather, its more of a yippy noise when I want the other dogs in the house to play with me.
My foster mom likes to brag on how smart I am, too. It only took me two days to learn sit, shake and down. Pretty impressive, right?!
I love spending time outdoors with my family and snuggling with them inside. Im still young so I will need a walk every day so I dont become destructive. I love playing keep away and tug of wargame on!
