Ani is a Cairn Terrier/Terrier mix. You can see the Cairn in her. Known as the 'Toto' dog, this tough, agile breed came from the Highlands of Scotland and the isle of Skye. These dogs were originally farmer's dogs and you know farmer's don't put up with sass. So this is an obedient type. Well, Ani is a long way from the farm. She's in our rescue system, ready and eager for her new urban--or suburban-- forever household.
Ani is great with adults, older kids, other dogs, even CATS--and she can be a gentle, loving, fetch-playing addition to a household with older kids. At about 1.5 years old, Ani has a bright future ahead in a forever home, and many years of love and joy to give.

There you will learn more about our SF-based non-profit rescue and how to go about adopting an FDR dog. If you submit an application to adopt, we will get back to you.
Adoption fee is tax-deductible and includes one free wellness exam in SF, up to date shots, and spay/neuter.
Sorry, we do not adopt outside the Northern California area and you MUST be able to meet and greet Ani and her adoption counselor in SF, once you are contacted after we have your application. Thanks!
